Will Alexandra Kosteniuk be the only "chess babe" ever features on Babes of Sports? Don't be so sure - there are some other babes in the chess world.
But Alexandra Kosteniuk is the pre-eminent one, at least for now. A 24-year-old Russian living in the United States, she won the Women's World Chess Championship late in 2008. An article about her in the Miami Herald describes her as an aspiring model.
