Jen Christian

Jen Christian is a native of Arizona now living in Austin, where she recently graduated from the University of Texas. In high school, Jen was named the Arizona Volleyball Player of the Year, and was considered one of the top recruits in the nation. With the Longhorns, the 6-foot-3 Christian played outside hitter, earning four letters. After her sophomore season, Jen was named "Collegiate Athlete of the Year" by Athletes International. She also set a school record that season for aces in a game (8).

Now that she's finished with her collegiate career, Jen is considering playing pro volleyball next year, and in the meantime is enjoying coaching in the Austin area.

Ashley Harkleroad

This is tennis player Ashley Harkleroad, currently ranked No. 61 in the world among professional women.

But she's No. 1 in the hearts of Playboy readers. Or at least will be when the August issue comes out. Harkleroad will be the first tennis players featured in a pictorial for that particular magazine.

Wilnelia Gonzalez

This 6-foot-1 Puerto Rican beauty is Wilnelia Gonzalez, a volleyball player. Wilnelia was the most valuable player of her college team, Universidad del Sagrado corazon Campeonas, last year, and graduated with a bacherlor's degree in advertising and marketing. She now plays professionally for Las Valencianas de Juncos Campeonas as a center blocker.

Drea Avent

Here at Babes of Sports, our favorite sportscaster is Drea Avent. Drea can be seen on FOX 29 in San Antonio. In addition to being gorgeous, Drea is also very, very talented - so talented that she'll surely be moving on to a series of high-profile gigs as her career progresses. Which is a shame, because I live in San Antonio and have the pleasure of watching her. Drea can take the most boring assignmetn - say, a high school sports Player of the Week feature - and through a clever approach, strong writing and flawless presentation make it seem like the most important segment on the news.

Blair O'Neal

This is professional golfer and professional model Blair O'Neal, who is featured in the current issue of Sweat, an Arizona fitness magazine.

Stacy Keibler

WWE star Stacy Keibler is the only other athlete (in addition to Danica Patrick) to make Maxim's Hot 100 list this year. Maxim editors clearly aren't paying very close attention to the sports world!

No. 91 - Danica Patrick

No. 91 doesn't refer to Danica Patrick's car number, but to her number on Maxim's 2008 Hot 100 list. Seems a little low to me. But, then, I focus on athletes.

Mia St. John

Mia St. John, one of the first women to make a name for herself boxing. Better be nice to her. She can beat you up.

Jenny Adams

Betcha can't guess which magazine this photo is from.

Jenny Adams is track and field athlete, focusing in the 100 and 110 hurdles but also sometimes competing in high jump. She was an 11-time All-American in college (multiple disciplines each year).
